Re: Café Corner

I don't think killing thousands of innocents in exchange for 70 virgins is very virtuous...

I really hope you meant the passengers. mini/confused

Re: Café Corner

Ok kids, let's cut it out now, having this kind of discussion here is not productive.  It's unfortunate that every year when somebody mentions 9/11 a European kid whines about it, but we did discuss the inevitability of this in the moderator forum, I guess.

Re: Café Corner

Went to a flea market today, bought a General Grevious Guard ship set from the clone wars line (LEGO). All for 8 dollars! I think the actual price is about 50? Anyway, some pieces missing, and instead of the Guard, it actually came with General Grevious himself, without legs, so I think the sellers son mixed up somethings... anyway, good haul, since I don't even own a Grevious, now I do. Good parts came with the set too, like two lightsabers (blue & green) and some other cool things.

congratulatons DerTarchin

Re: Café Corner

Its not such a big thing. I may get alot of other small legos from Amazon now that I have a $30 gift card for my bday on Amazon. I might get a couple Harry Potter sets, barely have any, love there simplicity, hate there over-priced high values, and admire the loose minifigs.

Also a lot of people are joining this HP avatar thing. Lets see who posts Hermione, Harry, or Ron! I was actually going to change mine to a LEGO Hedwig (have her). And I may even change my sig early, even though the Sniper is a cool sig. Right, that's what I'll do today.

Re: Café Corner

Homerball, quite the epic avatar you got there. Your pudding should have arrived already. And sorry to cut into all this chat about 9/11, it is most dreadful for me to remember such horrible thoughts.

Also TBdude, those are epic shoes indeed. I would buy a pair myself.

Re: Café Corner

September 11, 2001 was a scary day for Americans because they didn't know where the planes would come down next. And lets not forget these attacks weren't on an army base, they were on innocent people. TDogg, if you want to go strutting around again and say it was a pathetic ordeal bloated by the media, fine, thats your character you're deflating. The thing is, it was sad, and scary.

Re: Café Corner

TbDude those shoes are coolio but if you are going to put your name on it I would make it a bit more noticeable than what it is now because right now it just looks weird. But the color pattern is awesome.

Re: Café Corner

Yo yo yo yo! New Harry Potter avy. The acting sucks in the movies, but whatever.

Dude, you realize the flame war is over, right?
Now, to be completely hypocritical, I just want to mention to Tdogg that he's coming from a very odd place, because his nation of the U.K. goes through the very same thing every July 7th. Granted it wasn't nearly as serious of an attack as 9/11 was to the U.S., but it was a serious attack nonetheless.

I dont care if it was scary for americans in 2001, its 2010 now.
And i dont know were the whole my country vs your country thing came into this; i care just as little about the 1000s of terrorist attacks on the UK.

If you start being scared then the terrorists win.

"say it was a pathetic ordeal" This is not something i said.

Win statement.

After seeing tons of terrorist movies that becomes an obvious goal of theirs. That and to wipe out non-Muslims. But I don't want to step into talking about religions, so I'll back out now.

Why is there so much war in the world. :'(
