Elemental

YouTube

Took me about 2 weeks to make this, a bit longer then was necessary as a lot of the footage taken wasn't used, but I'm very proud of the result.

It ain't perfect by any means, but it's certainly great compared to my other films. So enjoy!

Re: Elemental

The first half of the film was so badly lit I couldn't tell what was going on. The stud animation was very natural - just a shame I couldn't see it.

Awesome concept! Well executed, although the lighting and some parts of the animation were a bit uninteresting. Keep it up!

Re: Elemental

Oh. I honestly could see it fine, it might be still processing, but then again it might be that I don't want to dislike it. mini/sad  Thanks anyway!

They have things called spell-check 'ya know.

Anyway, As people have said, the lighting needs work. The animation was good where I saw it. 2.7/5

Re: Elemental

That should get in the top 20 at least.

Re: Elemental

I've noticed that YouTube does darken films when they are submitted.  Everyone should keep that in mind when filming because there have been quite a few films that have had scenes that were hard to see.  That being said, I enjoyed the concept and the animation.  Just use brighter lights next time. mini/smile

Re: Elemental

I appreciate all your comments. I'll try to improve the lighting as much as I can in my next films, although I do use two big lamps already, I may try and mess around with the exposure.
And thanks MadLibs, although I decided not to enter this into Septemberfest. Oh, and also thanks for the kind words, Brick7. Always wanted to get a comment from you. mini/cat

Re: Elemental

Well that was a fun film, I could see just fine. However if someone has a dark screen, I could see them having an issue. Anyway, neat animation and cool idea. mini/smile Well done!

Now that's just rude.

I'd have to agree with what Hazzat said. I really enjoyed the stud animation. mini/smile

Re: Elemental

Lets see now... I like the animation, very smooth, and like the idea, just that I didn't get what was going on. Was it like a battle or war between... morphing LEGO studs?
