It's hard to compare the 89s Batman and the Dark Knight. It's a complete different universe and even characters are shaped differently. I prefer the Nolan universe, but there are things from Burton that I like too. For example, the Gothic style of Gotham has always appealed to me. It resembled more the look of the animated series Gotham which is still Gotham's best rendition, me thinks.

I always hated how he kills people in 89' Batman though...
This thread makes for some incredibly interesting reading, especially having not seen anything about batman further than brickfilms and the cartoon.

Anywho, if you want to experience more Batman awesomeness, then I'd reccomend watching Batman Begins, The Dark Knight, 1989 Batman, and a little 1960's Batman. (lol)

+ we know way more about what Batman his adventures, we haven't learn that much about what Rorschach did in all of those years of crimefighting. Rorschach is a great character, but you can't compare him to "The Batman".
Well, batman sucks anyway.
Well, create a Rorschach thread and get out of this one!
It kind of like walking into a Star Trek convention and saying "STAR TREK SUCKS!! STAR WARS OWNS STAR TREK DUH HUH!!" (actually, I would really like to see a video of someone doing that, or maybe someone walking into the convention dressed as Darth Vader....)

Oh, true, true.
I will admit it's laughable at points, but it was badass in the 60's.
Cool designs, but bad shape.
