We're sorta debating whether it should be Friday or Sunday; unfortunately I will be out of town Saturday. In order for it to work I'd need it to be something in the afternoon, USA time. I'm fine with either Friday or Sunday afternoon. I think whatever time we pick won't be ideal for everybody, but if we can find a time that is suitable for most people who care, that would be nice. Results will be posted after the chat of course for those who miss it.
The results chats tend to be a lot of declarations of congratulations and little more, anyway, as it's a bit difficult to follow what's going on if participation is high.
If you were an entrant and you have a preference over whether hold the results chat this Friday or this Sunday, feel free to reply in this thread.
This Friday would probably be best for us (since we start school the day after Sunday).

Yep, chat not chart. Basically a little live event in the chat room where we announce the results of the contest. Note we'll only announce the top 20 or so, for the dignity of the people who didn't place as high -- somebody has to come in last place, after all.
Results will be posted in this forum after the chat.

Friday is really better for me. Sunday, I'll probably be busy.
The slim majority of people I've talked to seems to favor Friday.
All the top 20 will be announced in the forum. It's really the top 21 because we had some ties due to the scoring system. The full results (of 31 qualifying entries) do exist, so I could send people info on how their film placed on request, beyond that.
The scoring system was points-based instead of rankings based so the results are probably going to "look" a little different than normal, but I think the system we ended up with was an improvement on the judging system we've used in previous contests.
I need Sunday, I'll be out of town Friday.

Uh, no probably not. That's sorta the point of not releasing the full results is because nobody really needs to know how other people placed below the top 20, we're trying to avoid the public humiliation these contests sometimes provide since it was never what was intended.

Just PM Sméagol after the contest results are announced and he'll tell you exactly where you placed. He just won't tell you anyone else's score.
