Wow, there's been a lot of discussion while I was disconnected from the internet for a week.
And to say the least, I'm not all that impressed with any of the entries so far. RealBrick's has come the closest, but the rest are meh. Yoder, I know you may be a stock photo purist, but that's only one opinion out of all the masters here. And to be honest, your entry might have suffered a little less if you had used a stock photo; you only used one technique and then splashed color on there (and the color wasn't very colorful either).
One thing I haven't seen entered yet, is the display of just one color in it's full glory. My reference photo was done in less than three minutes. I want yours to take a good twenty. RealBrick took color from many resources, instead of applying a gradient. The only downside is that's all he did. I want you to make the colors explode] or quietly be awesome. Tinker with color levels and creatively blend the image, don'e just cut out the images and have them fade to soften the edges.
Come on guys, I know you can do better than bicker over each others images. Just give me some soul!
Oh, and what about my subway map?

he cut out a minifigure and put it on the background. Have some common sense.
Yeah Yoder, that was kind of uncalled for. ![]()
Have some common sense.
And you have common sense?
Wow, Realbrick's sig sure is true.
Well, think about it. You acted as if he should've already known the answer to the question, when obviously he didn't since he asked the question. It's all about how we interpreted your post in our heads, since we can't hear your voice. Maybe you should reread your post a few times, and let it sink in.
Now that's how you anger someone who hates stock images.

The only reason i've been reading this thread is because all the arguments, Yoder, stop bein so rude! ![]()
UniLego, the Sun should have been in the yellow section, not the red.
You could have used something like Betelgeuse or Mu Cephei or one of those red giants though.
And Yoder, you don't have to fire off so many mean comments all the time. It makes it boring to look in threads where these kinds of arguments happen.
YOU sir are an artist! ![]()
