Topic: Flying with blue screen

Ok, in this test, I used the blue screen technology, then I tracked the camera to match the perspective. It took me a long time to finish the CGI city. I created the city in After Effects with some stock around a real building.
All done in After effect and Photoshop.
Shot with Canon PowerShot A75.

Re: Flying with blue screen

Nice! Only thing that looked corny was the lights on the back of the jetpack. Other than that, when he jumped off the building, he should have exerted more power. Great job! I see you take an interest in Andrew Kramer's tutorials!

By the way, your English is better than most people in the forum here! And their first language is English mini/lol

Keep on doing that man, great job. mini/wink

Persist.

Re: Flying with blue screen

I have to say, that was great. If you could make a script of space themed script (Because that's where your effects will be handy) I would love to see it. As MOL has said, I thought he could of excelled more power and used a bit of Ease in and out.

Overall I'm looking very forward to your upcoming work.

Re: Flying with blue screen

Personally, the only good thing I see in this is the bluescreening. It was done very well. The animation didn't feel right, especially when he jumped off the building and when the camera was "going around him". But that was very impressive bluescreening, something I wouldn't be able to do.

Nice job. mini/smile

Yes, I have the same question, and a few more: how did you make the background city so well? And how in the world did you make it that awesome? Great job man.

Re: Flying with blue screen

I don't know for sure, but considering he uses the exact same street images, I'm guessing he got a lot of his info from these two tutorials.

Pretty awesome... almost a little too much so, as the camera quality used for the animation wasn't nearly as crisp as the CGI buildings. Also, the camera movement wasn't quite matched up... the camera started to rotate around the minifig a few frames before the CGI camera started to rotate around the buildings.

Overall, an excellent job... the blue screen was nearly flawless. And as MOL said, your English is better than half of our members who speak it natively.

With all due respect Noodle, I don't want you here. - Ratboy Productions
