Topic: A Day in the Park/A Test Montage Clip

youtube
I hate that tree, terrible for set bumps.  Anyways, I made tests.  Walking, sitting, horse walking, gun recoil, droid roll, head/helmet turn, slap, running, (something i will let you guys decifer), and bench scoot. *not in that order* Not happy with most of it, but the horse walk turned out good.  Also an HD test, and a test to see if I can eliminate light flicker, (almost did it).

Re: A Day in the Park/A Test Montage Clip

your animation was average, the camera quality was good and overall, I found it decent. I did see light flickers however, and the run cycle needs work.

Re: A Day in the Park/A Test Montage Clip

You pretty much summed it up yourself. Although, as RB said, your run cycle needs a little work (not saying that it's bad, just needs a few touch-ups mini/wink ).

Thanks for the feedback.
Yes, i did have light flickers, but if you look at previous works of mine, this is way better lighting wise, and i didn't like either of my run cycles i tried, (i tried two), I'll probably make another test for walk and run cycles.  I'm still getting used to 15 fps, although i made a a five min film at 15 already, (go figure).

That tree... It bothered me...

Re: A Day in the Park/A Test Montage Clip

I agree, and i've learned my lesson, never have that tree in the way of my hands, it is to easy to bump.  From now on, i vow to nly use it in the background or somewhere else out of the way. mini/wink
