Re: What was the last movie you watched?

Toy Story 3

Pixar did it again! I enjoyed it and found it to be the best animated film I have seen all year. I don't know how, but they manage to take toys, a very elaborate plot, and a college boy, and make a very emotional movie with them. There was a scene in the movie that I found to be very powerful, and there were people around me crying. I am still amazed on how they can take a daycare center and turn it into a high security prison. There was also some decent humor, and I did take note to spot the Lego minifigures in the film. I was also amazed at how they can create a rather freakish character out of a toy. Pixar is by far the best animation studio ever known.

Spoiler (click to read)

There was one scene with a baby doll turning its head, my golly, did it remind me of Shutter Island, perfect 180 degree turn.

almost famous - its the best!

Re: What was the last movie you watched?

Spiderman 3

I watched it on the channel "FX," which I recently discovered after getting cable. I was more interested in how they made the movie than the actual movie itself! All-in-all, I'd give the movie a 3.5/5.

WE WANT TO SEE TOY STORY 3 SO BADLY! mini/eek . Though seriously (Even though we were serious), the last movie we sow was... Alice in Wonderland. It was really a wild ride & a fantastic mix of live footage & CGI elements. The cinematography was also almost perfected in that film (It is also the fifth most successful film in history!).

It reminded me of East Berlin.

VERY good vampire movie, the atmopshere here was really well nailed, the love interraction between our protagonists is just so beautiful, the movie just feels realistic, no flashy drama hollywood sh*t, I'm very impressed with Swedish cinéma lately

4/5 so far

I'm definatly seeing it again.

Only because of George Lucas, who created Pixar then sold it. mini/smile

Deconstructing Harry

It was funny however pretty disappointing at the same time. It felt sad and kinda boring since Woody Allen goes into the same issues he's already been into in other films. It gets repetitive.

No, it's because they know how to develop a story.

That doesn't really have much to do with anything.

Re: What was the last movie you watched?

The Fog
It was okay, not John Carpenter's best though.

Evil Dead II

So true. All the interesting film making techniques they used are way more awesome than the movie, I actually just watched a bit of it yesterday but I couldn't handle the pain of sitting through more than one awkward scene.

That film is of course amazing. But to fully experience it you have to see it in the Cinema. The experience is just too amazing to put it into words but you have to see it in the cinema.

And it's the ONLY way to see it. Literally. I can't find it anywhere else! It's not on the internet or on DVD!

Hot Tub Time Machine
Oh dear god, that was probably the worst movie I've ever seen. You can tell it's going to be a bad movie when you hear something as cheesy as, "Wow, it's like some sort of.... *looks at the camera* Hot Tub Time Machine."

The Road

It was pretty awesome. I liked how it didn't create a whole new universe specifically for the film, but focused on the guy and his son.
