Re: What was the last movie you watched?
Rebeca
It was nice, but not one of the best works of Hitchcock.
Spellbound
I liked it. Don't know what else to say about it

Cold Prey
A cool Norwegian slasher I saw on SBS last night. It was pretty good. Scary.
Watched Whip It on my sister's recommendation. It was much more entertaining than I expected, despite having Jimmy Fallon in it.
The Last Airbender
As bad as the critics where making it out to be, sadly. I was disappointed. Nevertheless I really enjoyed it, well worth a view IMO.
5/10

Ok seriously what's up with these Cat avatars ?
Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull (2008)
Despite some of the bad reviews about it and stuffs, I still enjoy it as another Indy Jones movie. I'm curious to know what will become of the sometime-in-the-future upcoming fifth movie. If they continue the cycle of Good Movie, "Bad" Movie, Good Movie, "Bad" Movie, as some have called it, then according to that, the next one should be good.
I still enjoy all four movies, though, regardless!
Twilight (2008)
I WAS BORED OK???
It wasn't horrible at all, but creepy (weird creepy) and awkward at times...
Sometimes the chemistry between Bella and Edward was good in scenes, or it was either creepy awkward, I don't see how the movie can see the line "I like to watch you while you sleep" as something romantic...
The director was good enough to take HER time in establishing the relationship between Bella and Edward and in the meantime have the evil vampires story. The movie is for the rest a decent chickflick, although I'll never approove some of the changed vampire rules... yeah the glittering face was just gay.
The acting is decent from all actors, I'm glad to see taylor lautner with a shirt on...
After seeing this I'm not sure if I should see New Moon...3/5
I would recommend seeing New Moon, as long as you're prepared for three-quarters-of-an-hour of Bella sulking. I can't really say anything about the new one, as I'm not gonna' be seeing it for a week.

NEVER AGAIN WILL I SPEAK OF THIS......
But after seeing "that movie" I, almost DIED!
It was horrible, if you ever, and I mean ever, have HBO for the weekend do not watch "TWILIGHT"
That's about 4 hours of your life you will neva eva get back.
And it ended kinda ended ubruptly and I was like that's it?!?!?!?!?!?!
(Gay sparkly vampires...)
I've seen it. I didn't really enjoy it but it definitely wasn't the worst film I've ever seen.
If anyone cares, the worst film I've ever seen would be "AVH: Alien vs. Hunter".

The movie is 2 hours long, the ending was ok, (Radiohead!)
The movie wasn't horrible, at all man (Am I defending Twilight here?!)
^ Two hours + travel time to the theater + commercials + previews + travel time back home + time vomiting in the toilet = 4+ hours.

Hahaha.
I watched it on HBO....
Sunset Boulevard
Superb example of film noir. I thought it was an interesting storytelling technique having the dead main character narrate the whole thing, and I must say the ending was quite surprising, given that I've heard the closing line before but I had no idea what context it was in.

They're supposedly working on it, but considering how long the last one took, I would give them at least another 20 years.

Also, following another cycle, the fifth movie should have an object from the Bible.
Also, following another cycle, the fifth movie should have Harrison Ford frozen in a gas chamber. Wait, that's Star Wars...all this actor confusion ![]()
When a Stranger Calls (1979)
I fell off my couch because I was scared.

Interesting. I've seen SUNSET BOULEVARD many times, but never thought of it as a film noir. Could you expound on how it fits in the genre?
