.I've never done a test like this, how could I have improved?
Well, when your hit you fly backwards after 2-3 frames of animation. As everyone with eyesight can see, he walked backwards so he didn't embarrass the guy who hit him.
Ok....
I'll try not to do that anymore!
The guy who punched should turn back so his two feet are on the studs again.

like they said, have the hit guy SLAM into the bookcase, not gingerly walk backwards.

Wow! I really liked this. Two things I can recommend though is have the person who punched him get back into the stance he was in quicker than just have him hang there. Also the second thing I recommend is you add sound effects. The visuals is only half of the film if you added sound effects to this I guarantee you it'll look much better. Don't underestimate the power of sound.
