Yeah, who calls meat balls that anyways?
It is a type of meat ball, it is also my favourite meat ball. It can not under any circumstances be called a meat ball, for meat balls are tasteless balls of meat, and this is the most wonderful food product ever made from pork offal. You have not lived until you have tried one.

I didn't even know about that.
I was trying to figure out what curse word it was but nothing fit until I saw somebody saying something about meat balls and cigarettes being called the same thing.
Because my Dad is alway's telling me when I start telling him some German word's he alway's bring's up that Cigarette's are called F**'s.
I think he think's he's smart when he say's stuff like that.

Sorry to bother everyone, but I got kicked for saying the word pen1s. I have no problem with this, and understand why it is bad to say the word and why it is banned. However, when another member tried the word 'Vagina' (pardon the use of the word), he was not kicked.
I'm not angry or annoyed, but I find it a little odd that the female equivalent of the word - which is just as profane - is not banned. Do you assume that females do not visit the chat? Or is it that the word cannot be thrown into general conversation unless you directly refer to the item of female anatomy? Why not one, but not the other?

The chat censor only allows for up to 40 words so we had to leave a few of the more exotic terms out of it and focus on words that are more frequently abused.
Kudos for being creative in your efforts to violate the chat rules, I guess. It's just not among the top 40, the only reason I've seen it personally was when people complained that it wasn't censored in comparison to the other aforementioned term, therefore implying a double standard.

We're not in England though. We're on the internet. And on the internet f a g is mostly used in offensive terms.

So? The internet is a mixed culture. I suppose if I was to say, you're a F A G then that would be wrong. But if said, hmm, I could do with a F A G right now that would be ok
Except f a g on the internet is mostly use as the offensive term, and as such the censor makes sense. On the internet, I've never seen the word "f a g" being used for anything other than the pejorative term, except in cases where people were like "you shouldn't censor it because it could also mean cigarette". That in itself should be quite telling enough.

Yeah, there's no perfect solution. We don't censor some words that are commonly used for something other than an explicit meaning (for example !@#$, since it's not a very unusual name) but ones that are mostly just going to be abused we tend to censor, even if they do have other definitions. If you use the offending word in chat, you'll just get a kick so you can rejoin in a couple seconds and know not to use that word again.
