No offense, but how is a Lego Star Wars film avant-garde? Or is that not the film you're referring to? Welcome to the site, by the way!
Oh, and before another member yells at you, I'd suggest using the "edit" button rather than making consecutive posts (double-posting). We tend to get a little testy about stuff like that.

Posting a video on YouTube is, by definition, posting it on your own channel. Even if you post it as a video response to the contest video, it will still be on your channel.

okay, I have a question, I have some music from a video game that is NOT copywrighted, can I use it in the film? Thanks! :-)
I'd be very skeptical that any music from any video game would not be copyrighted. It's sort of their intellectual property by definition.

Its still stealing, unless you ask them and they say that you can have it then your basically just robbing them of there music.

Smeagol, at the premier, are you going to have trailers for films being made like you did last year? If so, could I reserve a spot?

There won't be a premiere like we had for STAR. The last one was 4+ hours long and not really a very workable thing, what with all the technical issues we had.
Anyhow the submission process (YT responses, etc.) means we couldn't do something like this if we wanted.
