I would put in something a bit more exciting, the buildings are well constructed, but dull. Maybe the iWash add or a Lego movie star image.

Yeah, thatnks for reminding me of that. I was going to sneak in the logo of my friend's YouTube account and some adverts. I probably would have forgotten that ![]()
The funny thing is, I've been working my ass off on this so far and it's only for something like a 30 second short.

Besides great set design, the lighting in that shot looks fantastic. Can't wait to see the film!
I see one problem, the sand grains.

sands too big?
No. they will move around in the animation.

Isn't there a way to glue the sand? (against a piece of paper, not against the lego)
oh done a test, it really doesn't move that much. and when it does, it looks like its twinkling!

I don't like it - it's too... I don't know... square and stuff...
The main thing is that two people can sit COMFORTABLY in front, while another sits in the back.
I NEED HELP!!
I definitely agree that it's too boxy. I don't like how the cargo area is skinnier than the cab, either.
You might want to try to get a hold of Yanzl. The guy is a vehicle-designing genius (see his posts in this thread). Timothy R's also quite good.

the trucks too big. and i got about a hundred tan pieces left over - what else should i add?
im setting up a huge surface covered in sand with a few palm trees poking out and scattered ruins about, but as far as the main structure any tips?
what do you hate about it?
