Topic: Wall Jump animation practice

I made a little clip for the wall jump animation challenge. With it, I think I've invented a new genre: "Crappimation". As usual, Youtube destroyed the quality somewhat. Partly, I think, due to my After Effects not being able to render as MPEG2 or H264 for some reason. One day I'll get software that works...

However I think the audio has improved ever so slightly from my previous films. The masking isn't too crash hot but meh, whatever.

This film also sees the return of certain rubbish collector. mini/wink

Awesome!  This competition is getting REALLY interesting, hope I get to enter this time around mini/smile

Pretty good, Sean! I recommend switching the head to one w/o the scared face on the back whenever he turns around. It kinda ruins the effect if the guy has two faces. (besides two-face)

Aye, I did consider doing that but in the end I decided that it was simply an animation test and I couldn't be bothered switching to a blank face, or going to the trouble of masking it in post. Trust me that if it was a proper brickfilm I'd give more attention to things like that mini/wink

You're a bit rusty, though you haven't animated in a while, so I won't be harsh on you, hehe. The masking was good, I didn't notice anything wrong with it (I only watched once, however). Nice job, keep up with the animating! mini/smile

All I saw was a bit of light flicker, but I'm one to talk.

Be as harsh as you like, within reason. I can take it mini/wink
