I concur. I respect the attempt, but the execution was flawed (lolpun).
Try taking it a bit slower filming at 15fps or so with more frames, as the animation felt quite choppy.
I'd also suggest getting a blank background, as the calendar flapping in the background was quite off putting.
As for the movement of the minifigure, try to pull the minifig back a bit as if he is preparing to really swing that sword hard. A nice little bit of comedy might be that he swings the sword, slices right through the other minifigures neck and he keeps spinning for a couple of seconds. But that's up to you. Otherwise pay attention to your easing and you should be set.
