Iron Man mini/jaw
So I rewatched Iron Man, having recently seen Iron Man 2.
It is better in absolutely every way (except perhaps the villains). From start to finish it kicks ass.
Iron Man 2, not so much. It promises a film just as good in the first 40 minutes... but after which fails to deliver on everything.

Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels mini/confused
Very slick, and pretty Tarantino-esque.
Similar in style and plot to (but not nearly as good as) Pulp Fiction.
The dialogue is great, even though the acting sucks, but it's still pretty entertaining.

My parents hated Iron Man 2 to bits. I'm just not interested in Iron Man 2, probably the only person whose not.

Iron Man 2

Amazing film, better than the fist one IMO. Loved the action sequences, Tony stark is a bit of a snob in it though

I thought that movie was pretty lame. It takes more than explosions and hot girls to make a good movie.

I watched Fight Club last night with my friends. Not what I expected, but it exceeded my expectations.

Iron Man 2

It was a good sequel, good intense story (the talking didn't bother me btw, it made it more realistic IMO), awesome over-the-top CGI fun, and over all good acting by everyone, Mickey Rouke surprised me. I loved Sam Rockwell, I want him in the next one. Soo bad. Saw it on opening day and I felt it was way worth the money. I feel like going to see movies on opening day more after that, fun fun. Also, even though after the movie you realized there were a few plot holes I still think they sold it all pretty well. I have to see it again to really get it though.

Scarlett Johansson filled that role, yes, but Spudster's comment implied more than one (at least in terms of major roles).

Big Trouble in Little China mini/jaw

Every so often you watch a film which you really wish you'd made. For me, this is that film.
Things we can learn from watching this truely awesome movie:

  • All Chinese people know sorcery and kung fu.

  • Kurt Russell is better than you.

  • John Carpenter is almighty ruler of the creature feature.

If you have not seen this movie, fix that immediately.

You will love this if you enjoyed any or all of the following:
Planet Terror, The Thing, Kill Bill, Pulp Fiction (or anything else by Tarantino), The Terminator, The Evil Dead...

Clash of The Titans

Awesome action flick. The battles were all kick-ass, especially when Calibos attacked the group. Loved the lightsaber-ish sword.

How To Train Your Dragon

Beautiful film, probably DreamWork's best. I've got to go and see it again before I can give it a proper review, though.

I've decided that I'm going to become immune to several select, non-lethal poisons, then put them in my snacks to discourage sneaky snack snatchers. -Littlebrick
