Re: Logitech Quick-cam pro 9000 light flicker

Go to settings and turn everything to manual.

Re: Logitech Quick-cam pro 9000 light flicker

Hmmm take a screenshot of the settings that you put it at. Also, when you get the webcam at first EVERY TIME the quality seems horrible. You want to restart your computer and see how it is, other than that I guess it can be only the settings.

Re: Logitech Quick-cam pro 9000 light flicker

Everything is manual and I shall try what vim said now.

Re: Logitech Quick-cam pro 9000 light flicker

There is a button in the capture window in the left corner that's suppose to reduce flicker, I've never used it but you could try.

Ok I will.

Re: Logitech Quick-cam pro 9000 light flicker

You want rightlight off.
You want exposure and gain on manual.
You ALSO want white balance on manual.

Re: Logitech Quick-cam pro 9000 light flicker

No, you should keep everything off and to manual, including the anti flicker setting.
It could be your lights. Are they fluorescent? If so, this could be causing the flicker.

Incandescent lights blink on and off 60 times a second. Fluorescents do not. Therefore if he uses fluorescent lights he should be fine.
