Topic: Blender shader issues

When i import something that's at all complex from leocad, like a gun or something, and i hit the set smooth button, it has some wierd shader issues.  The same problem happens when i use something simple like, a brick, but it's easily solved by beveling it, and beveling something complex kills it.  Is there any way to fix it? mini/frustrated   Thanks!

Re: Blender shader issues

Well, what you would want to do, is if you're really up to it, select every single brick, one by one, and enter edit mode with each one and hit Ctrl + n, then cit should say "Recalculate normals outside?", then click that. Do that for every single brick. Then, in the editing panel, under Mesh, hit auto smooth (again, you have to select every single brick seperately to auto smooth it. If there's an easier way to do them all at once, I'm not aware of it.) Then you should be good as gold!
