It was... Ok, but what were the grey things flying around? Bullets?
You can't see bullets fired from an actual gun because they travel too fast...
Or was it debris?
it was supposed to be debris, yes, chunks of earth or building flying about to emphasize the point that he was being shot at...just kinda to show where the bullets hit, you know?? thanks for the input. what would you suggest to make it look more "real"?
it started off good but then it worse as it went along. and why is he shooting bricks?
Hmm...
I would suggest building that pillar thin next to the door with
2x1's, and a 1x1.
If you build it in a way that it looks like a chunk is missing, it would look ok..
But yeah, the animation was good, and I love the twirl thing he did.
@brickyman: hmm i guess that would help a bit more, thanks!
@Tdogg: as i already explained to brickyman...he is not shooting the blocks! those are just the missed shots that are hitting the ground (the debris coming up from the ground) showing where the shots are hitting...obviously you would not be able to see the bullets, but you would be able to see the effect those bullets had as they missed their target...i dunno maybe i should use a different strategy in the future seeing as this has already been confusing for more than one person...thanks for the input!!

sorry i didn't see brickymans comment.
I used a tiny bit if Kleenex for a puff of dust, try something like that.
