Avant-Garde, eh? I must say, a very clever title for this year's BiM, Smeagol. I'm looking forward to entering.
I started animating today. I certainly hope this idea hasn't been shown before (at least in LEGO form).
Just had the idea for the ultimate Avant-Garde Brickfilm: Brickfilm without any Bricks 
Not in Texas.
I began filming my film about a month ago... still a LONG way to go though. 
I'm getting new editing software in a week and my old camera broke... 
So I have to raise and get a new one... But it's all worth it!

Now I just wasted a few seconds on reading that comment! lol jk.
Had to scrap my first script long ago when it started to crack 15 pages. I fortunately realized not even satan himself would be able to help me finish in time. But I came up with a shorter script that utiziles some of the avante guarde technices from the first script. Finally got the new script done and I will be shooting the animation this weekend and early next week. I got a few days off so I am going to just lock myself into my room a la Trainspotting stlye and get a good chunck done. So lets see... Tomato soup 10 tins of, mushroom 10 tins of, three buckets for personal use, one tele, four lamps, one camera, and finally lots of lego and hope!
Do I get special bonus points for coming up with an avante guarde way of spelling avant-garde?

Dang, just heard about this contest, and starting to work on it now..GOTTA HURRY! lol
So, I just relised a problem, with one version of submission, (the youtube one) since youtube decided to chage the format of the player, You can't see video responses anymore, So how will they be entered into that now?
