No, fool. A dark one, much better than that.
With Joker, literally snapping his own neck on-screen, and things like that.
As long as they never do aquaman, I'm not bothered.

Well, Batman Returns did have the Penguin biting someone's nose off, Christopher Walken pushing Michelle Fifer out of a fourth floor window where she gets bitten by cats, and Batman strapping a dynamite to a guys belt and throwing him into a sewer. And this was with a PG-13. Did I mention people didnt like it?
Sure, you probally think its just people being pussies, but bear in mind that Batman was, and is still meant to be - a family movie. Batman Returns was just one nose-bite away from an 'R' rating. Do you really think adults would want to watch a super-hero movie?
And why would the Joker snap his own neck? I never when watching 'The Dark Knight' yelled "SNAP YOUR NECK!!" at the Joker. Why? I know he's nuts but....people in Lunatic Asylums dont even do that. The logic behind your suggestion baffles me. Do you really think a movie where the joker just snaps his own neck would be sucessfull?

Doesn't have to be.

Uh, yes.. Besides, if Kick-Ass is successful, then a dark Batman film definitely will.
And why would the Joker snap his own neck?
In Batman: The Dark Knight Returns, Joker snaps his neck to frame Batman for murder. This is what I was referring to.
I never when watching 'The Dark Knight' yelled "SNAP YOUR NECK!!" at the Joker.
Really?
I totally didn't..![]()
A movie about a man running around in tights and a bat costume can only get so dark before it just becomes obscure.
The Dark Knight was good, though.

This looks like the most interesting movie of 2010 ![]()
I hear that FRED the movie may be coming straight to nickelodeon.'As far as I'm concerned, that channel lost its potential long long long ago.

I can't believe I've never heard of this man. I must see this.
How about a positive LSD story, wouldn't that be newsworthy? "Today, a young man on acid realised that all matter is merely energy condensed to a slow vibration. That we are all one consciousness experiencing itself subjectively, there is no such thing as death, life is only a dream, and we are the imagination of ourselves... here's Tom with the weather."
The most brilliant mind of the last 30 years. Check out all his shows, I've seen a bunch. they're great

I was watching "Bill Hicks: Revelations" on YouTube. Hilarious.

even I have heard of him...btw, can't wait to see it: you are right, vik.
James Cameron plans to re-release 'Avatar' - despite it being released to DVD Monday.
But wait! Its going to be re-released with.....brace yourself.......SIX WHOLE MINUTES OF FOOTAGE! HOLY COW-LICK!!
So Avatar cant just let itself sit there in the world records as the highest grossing movie of ALL TIME counting its money like Mr Scrooge, it has to go out and dance naked in front of our faces once again, only this time yelling "I HAVE SIX MORE MINUTES OF EYE CANDY!!"
Well, no Mr Cameron. There is only so much shepherding I will take. Sure, I'll watch your movie, I'll buy your DVD, and I'll no doubt watch your sequel just to see if a script that takes you a few months is better than a script that takes you ten years - but isn't that enough? You have the entire world (apart from me) applauding you on your 'cinematic spectacle' - your 'masterpiece', with everyone kissing your patent leather shoes saying how unbelievably awesome both you and your orgasmic 'work of genius' is - is that not enough for you? What, was three months in the cinemas, raking in billions of dollars within the first few weeks alone not enough? Do you think that such 'epic' blockbusters like 'Clash of the Titans' is squandering your titanic-sized intake?
Yeah, I hate Avatar, but even if I liked it, I would still be ranting about this. I would rant if they planned to re-release 'The Dark Knight', and 'Lord of the Rings' in cinemas....but Avatar? The highest grossing movie of all time which only stopped showing in my local cinema a few weeks ago, and is out on DVD Monday? NO!
[/rant]
Oh yes, and 'Titanic 3D' will be awesome. Imagine watching a Love Story in 3D!

(PS: A 'Terminator 2 3D' would be pretty cool though. But out of all his movies, 'Titanic' is the last one I would want to be re-released in 3D)

Yay, now we can watch people drown in 3D.....except for me (not that I would watch it anyway)
So, they announced the release date for Batman 3.
Also, Marvel put out the first Thor promo pic. I'm pleased. ![]()

Brad Bird is directing Mission Impossible 4
Look, I don't care if it is a sequel (to a worth-while franchise, or so I thought), it's JJ Abrams and Brad Bird. How could it be bad?
