It must have come as a bit of a surprise. I also like Quentin Tarantino.
Yes, he is awesome, so is Sergio Leone.
They Live
John Carpenter is frickin' awesome ! I love his directing. This is one awesome Alien movie. !

Pretty good.
I hated that movie
That movie is an abomination to fiction, and lowered the bar for every Harry Potter movie afterwards! The movie is more accurately based on the blurb than the book, the acting is 'Plan 9 from Outer Space' bad, and the film takes a needlessly dark turn to what was a very light-hearted book.
The Demolition Man
I've never really watched a Sylvester Stallone movie before (apart from 'Spy Kids 3' *shudder*). But if this is what every movie of his is going to be like....MORE PLEASE!!
Its premise is simple: In the futuristic world of....um....1996, the world is torn by war and crime, with only one badass to stop it: John Spartan (SPARTAAAA!) played by Stallone. He is nicknamed 'The Demolition Man' beacause he spends a large amount of this movie running out of large buildings in slow-motion as they explode yelling 'NNNNNYYYYYYYYAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHH!!!!' . But, Spartan is sentenced to being frozen for 70 years after accidently blowing up a building filled with hostages whilst he captured his arch nemesis Simon Phoenix - played by Wesely Snipes. (Really, why would you send a guy called 'The Demolition Man' to deal with a hostage situation?)
But he gets revived in the year 2032 because Phoenix has escaped after being revived also. However, in 2032, it turns out world peace was restored in...um.....2010 (its not too late!) and so the world is a pacifist utopia where all resturants are 'Taco Bell' (apparently some versions of this movie have changed it to 'Pizza Hut') and any kind of profanity results in a one credit fine taken straight from the citizens bank account. (resulting in dramatic moments being hilariously interrupted by a loud siren and a ticket being dispensed from a machine)
Its actually a really cool concept that we have two action stars battling in a world where guns are only avalible in museums, and watching the police helplessly trying to solve the situation. This movie does has a Rob Schneider cameo - but he doesnt try to crack any jokes, and he's not in it for long, so he doesnt take anything out of the scene.
Overall, its not plot perfect, and at times its a cliche.....but thats why I love it! Its the 'Commando' of Sylvester Stallone - its just AWESOME.

Well, I liked it. It's actually my favorite one, next to the sixth film.
I can see what the Director was going for, and I can admire his balls for doing that - but I just didnt like it. But thats just me being the grumpy old fart that I am.
Its a bit bad that I make a really miserable, grumpy reveiw - and then rave about a movie being awesome because it has 'big explosions'. This is why I dont want to be a film critic, because I am the most biased and over-analysing critic in the world.

Not a Harry Potter fan, but I'm with Littlebrick on this one - PoA is my favorite of the series.

How old ARE you max?
PoA's the best Potter movie IMO. The sixth one was so disappointing me. If the 7th one does the same, I'll explode. Seriously, Death Hallows was my favourite.
Moon
Booooooooooooooooooring..
How old ARE you max?
15. 16 in a week and a bit.
My mental age is 7-10 , but the way I write makes me seem like an old proffesor (according to Night Owl)
No, I'm not a fat pervert

I was thinking: Wait, he's an old fart and he goes around with a batman avatar?

Let me guess, you're favorite movies consist of 300 and Transformers?
300 was meh, and Transformers was !@#$.
My favourites would have to be.... The Dark Knight, and The Bourne series.
You're obviously trying to say that I'm an unintelligent little eight year old who doesn't like complex movies.
Well, not really.
I'm not that smart, but still...
But Moon was just boring for me, I can't help it, it just was.

Well, since Moon is a solid sci-fi film with shots that (gasp) last longer than 10 seconds, I'd have to go with Spud's sentiment.
