Can you control manual focus with the remote?
I meant can the remote control the manual focus. If you manually adjust the manual focus you can bump the camera.
You can just use your photographic memory, can't you? Just be sure to take the lens-cap of before you use it though!

I'm tossing up between a 7D and 550D right now. I don't know about the lens, but the SMP website suggests that you should use a manual lens when shooting stop motion.
