Topic: Frame from Your Upcoming Film

I came up with this idea when I looked at a frame I liked of my upcoming film while editing. Just try and get a shot from your upcoming film that you like and post it. I think it's nice seeing frame's from unreleased films at an early stage as it show your progress and if you get feedback, you'll know for future reference. This could potentially help less able animators improve their frames to make a good quality film. So, I'd like to know what you guys think on this frame:

You must have at least 2 feedbacks until the next person can post their frame. I hope this works out, let's see what you've got!

Re: Frame from Your Upcoming Film

It looks nice, reminds me of an old film of mine.

Re: Frame from Your Upcoming Film

Darkman: No greenscreen, you see, that was one of the shots where the lighting was too bright. It's a night scene, it was way darker and looked really nice, and there was a slight green-ness in the background, giving it a gloomy feel. If you want I'll show you one with better lighting. One more feedback and someone else can feel free to go. mini/smile

Re: Frame from Your Upcoming Film

I think that this is a good idea!
Your frame looks really cool IMO, but the foreground figure is maybe slightly blurry.

That's intentional. It's a dialogue scene so the focus is on the middle character.

Re: Frame from Your Upcoming Film

Why not just put a blue paper back there and don't light it.

Because the green has a better effect for the scene.

Re: Frame from Your Upcoming Film

Looks nice, altough the walls on the first frame looked a bit too CGI (completley black). Maybe change them to a brick wall.

My monitor is probably lighter than yours, I can clearly see them.

The walls are a metal texture, it's just the angle

Re: Frame from Your Upcoming Film

Fair enough, lock the thread. I was actually looking for that but, didn't find it obviously.
