Agreed. Unless you have a bad PC, which only has a small amount of free space, so you can't play your games very well, and it lags up Half-Life 2 
Yeah, that's never happened to me...
Well PC gaming is quite expensive...
I got my computer WITH a graphics card, then I spent 60$ on half life games and Garry's Mod+ TF2.
Garry's Mod is very fun indeed! 
Get a PC. PC = Hardcore gaming. Consoles = kids without any technic knowlage.
Pah, that's what I've been doing for the past half-year. Consoles aren't half as bad as you make them out to be. You make it sound slightly like you're jealous.

You go spend $3000 making your 'hardcore rig' glow for no reason and play with water and electricity and we'll just chill on our couches and have fun which is what you're supposed to do with video games in the first place.
Yeah, console gaming is a lot more casual. I actually prefer them over PC Gaming. They take it way too seriously.
Yeah Wii is pretty much dead.
Thats why my first post EVER on NGU was thanking GOD that they don't consider Wii "Next Gen".

@Ark11: I'm sorry to say that it got very mediocre ratings, but you might enjoy it.
I'd definitely like to get into PC gaming at some point. I'd take a console over a PC any day (mainly because I'd rather sit on a couch looking at a large screen than sitting in a chair looking at a small one two feet from my face), but I enjoy simulation-type games and I'd rather played Half-Life 2 Episode 3 on the computer rather than an Xbox (if it ever comes out...) Mods are also nice.
Only problem is that it's rather expensive to get a decent PC.
Yeah, 700$ at a bare minimum.
And I would like to clarify what I said at the top of this page.
I meant that PC are hardcore, and that I (being a console guy) have no technical knowlage what so ever, not not describing console gamers all around.
And console gamers CAN be hardcore.

Does anyone know if Dark Void
is anygood.
Don't, the controls are just completely rubbish when it comes to the flying, the story isn't that great either, infact there is nothing about that game that is supposedly "any good", funny enough I've only played the demo for it, which, again, is bad. Funny enough, it's from CAPCOM... Boi, haven't my "hopes" of them making another decent game in the near future sunk so deep.

I played MW2 on xbox for awhile, but got bored of it due to its horrible balance and overall obnoxious player community.
Bought a PC for around 400, can run tf2, killing floor, and pretty much any game I throw at it (excluding bioshock and crysis, which run at around 40 fps.)
I'm never going back. If anyone wants to hang out I'm on steam info in my sig.

Yes, VALVE are taking long to finish, but this makes it more promising, as the only reason they released Half-Life 2 early was because of the German hacker that found the BETA files, and so VALVE couldn't make it as good as they wanted.
I'm getting Half-Life 2 episode 3 for my Xbox360. And it's supposedly coming out this year.
And rumor has it that there's gonna be a portal 2.
I've pre-order Bad Company 2 for my birthday, but I'm also thinking of trying to get the new Pokemon HeartGold or SoulSilver. They look super awesome.
