Oh, well we are pretty sure your folder has settings that you can change in Bricshelf to make the folder public. As for the logo, it looks great! The blocky font really lends itself well to the picture.

You said that before Awesomeonomy... Anyway, it is not wierd that you never thought of making a logo before. It just means that you chose to focus your efforts in different areas other than logos and little details like it.
