Imagine a remake of Batman and Robin

Why on earth do they need to reboot a franchise that is already doing fine (apart from the second odd-numbered film), and is only like ten years old. The only place that worked was with The Incredible Hulk, and that's only because the first film just stank so bad (or so I heard; I saw the most recent one, but not the first).

Still I'm actually kind of sad to hear this news though. I loved the Raimi Spider-man movies (except for 3 obviously) and now they're going to reboot it?! Wait at least 10 or 15 years, then it might be a good time.
Nor has 28 months later, but that's accepted as being in production for release in mid 2011.
I was young enough to enjoy all the Spiderman movies when they came out. This might be why I'm a little disappointed they're re-booting it. Watching a new Spiderman film would be like being a kid again. Kinda.
Also, HOW WILL TOBY MAGUIRE MAKE MONEY NOW?
