Lego Special Delivery

WATCH UNTIL THE END - READ DESCRIPTION Because I just got a new laptop (PC), I'm getting used to it. So this is my first film using it, and the programs I used were: WLMM (windows live movie maker - can play up to 30FPS) Goldwave and Sound Recorder Findsounds.com Gimp 2.6 (thanks brickheadvideos!) And I converted it to play in HD, let's hope it does! The story is about a restaurant in Lego Town (location unknown), and an employee goes to deliver a pizza to an anonymous person, 500 miles across the country, and finds out it's Indiana Jones. This is sort of a test video, but still please watch! And have you noticed something... NEW TITLES

Re: Lego Special Delivery

*Cough*?

Anyways, it was good. The 15 fps was a big leap from your past films, but there were still a few things that bothered me. You tend to bump your camera I think, because at the beginning you bumped it once, and then when it replayed it looked like a lot of bumps. The animation was good, but you still could've done more with it. Like, move the arms more when people are talking. Finally, the sets could use some work. I'd make a backround, even if it's just a picture. The grey baseplates were very plain, so you could add a few things.

Overall, it was a lot better than your older films, and I can't wait to see you continue to improve! mini/bigsmile

Re: Lego Special Delivery

Way to be a jerk ark11. It was his first try at making an animation on a PC.

I thought the animation was pretty good, and you didn't just let the background abruptly end right away, you put another baseplate as a kind of "barrier" to stop the landscape from ending. The mouth animation looked a bit out of place, mainly because it made the mouths look all wavy and they were a "true black" instead of the same color as all the other blacks.

But I think it's nice for getting used to a PC. It's still quite difficult for me to also try to use a Mac for animation stuff, so good job!

Re: Lego Special Delivery

c2, stop bumping threads!

Re: Lego Special Delivery

Bumping is acceptable if you have something valuable to add to the conversation, especially in review threads. At least this wasn't just a "cool."

It's ok to bump film threads.

Re: Lego Special Delivery

The animation with the fire looked really good. It was kind of jerky, which gave a flickering effect! mini/smile
