I'm in the process of making an entry, but when's the deadline now, because surely they should have been judged a couple of days ago.

EDIT: Didn't come out quite as I'd hoped, but nevermind, here it is:

Re: Cinematography Challenge (Read Rules First)

I'm sorry for the delay in judging, my internet has been down so often here recently that I have been unable to be on the internet more than a few minutes. I shall try and have the judging done tomorrow.

So wait, was it changed back to unfeeling, or is it still heartless?

Re: Cinematography Challenge (Read Rules First)

I think it's time I judged.

1. Spudster
Man, I love the lighting and the dark, cloudy sky, as well as the camera angle. I would really like to see that shot animated.  It's hard to tell how it fits the theme, I'm guessing that the skeleton is unfeeling, since, of course, it's a skeleton.

2. CheeseyBricks
That's pretty cool. Guy's just walking away, letting the guy he shot fall. A bit of an obvious interpretation of the theme, but I liked it nonetheless. The lighting was interesting, and the white expanse was well done.

3. Stud Studios
It fit the theme very nicely, but in terms of cinematography and lighting, it wasn't too good. As I said, I would have liked the set to be a dark alley setting or something like that, with some dead people around him, like his family or other children.

4. BGanimations
Oh noes! Frostbite! The interpretation of the theme is what I like the best, it stood out from the rest.

5. A.
It's definitely interesting, it seems most of the work went into post-production. It looks a bit like a knock-off of CheeseyBrick's, but I don't think you copied.

6. Brain Wave
Uhh...all I can say is keep working at it! They were all rather plain and uninteresting.

Oh, wasn't expecting that, give me a minute to think...

Re: Cinematography Challenge (Read Rules First)

Alright, I think I've got one.

How does Motivation sound to you guys?

Re: Cinematography Challenge (Read Rules First)

Second? Ahh nevermind, I'll aim for first this time. The theme sounds good, I already have a couple of ideas.

Re: Cinematography Challenge (Read Rules First)

I'm already working on my entry mini/bigsmile

EDIT: Here's a quick one I threw together.

My entry: A knight's motivation

The masking was bad, and I'm not a fan of the lighting myself. I had to leave all the living room lights on, my family wouldn't let me turn them off.

I'm glad you like it! You know how much of a pain it was to Sharpy the lipstick mark?

That's Sharpie!? Very well done.

Re: Cinematography Challenge (Read Rules First)

Thanks! Took me several tries, but it was worth the effort, I think.
