Topic: Best Greenscreen Material

Hey guys, finished filming my new film with my, (sort of greenscreen.)

I used my mum's buisness diary, it was good enough for the window. Thought it was quite funny - the use of improvisation! mini/lol

Anyway, could someone recommend good, cheap greenscreen material. This was good because it was only for the window but I want something bigger!

Thanks

Re: Best Greenscreen Material

Buy a green cloth and stick it to some cardboard. It works great.

Re: Best Greenscreen Material

Hmm Ratboy, the green background and the color of the minifig's face look quite similar. Did you have any problems with this when you chroma keyed?

Yeah i did have some problems. I had to duplicate the video, and mask the around the face only so that doesn't get chroma keyed. Does that make sense?

Re: Best Greenscreen Material

Perfect sense. And in that frame, I really don't see any other way to do it, as just about every color of the rainbow is in there somewhere. Maybe yellow? At least since there's a definite border between the background and that trouble area, you wouldn't have any problems animating the mask if necessary.

To clarify, I didn't have a problem you starting a new thread, just wanted to show you some good information had already been posted. Sorry about that.

Ok, that's enough this thread is from AUGUST. We're in JANUARY. That means you just bumped up a very old thread. You post doesn't make any sence either. mini/madhead

What I meant is that card is a good Chroma keying tutorial, and I'm sorry about bumping!:(

Re: Best Greenscreen Material

Please, stop. If you think you can take advantage of me, and the rest of us, you are wrong. It is very annoying, and this is your last chance from me. I'm sorry, but you must learn how to act responsible and mature. If you fail to do so, you shall suffer the consequences, as immaturity is like a sin on Bricks in Motion. And if thou sin, the word of Maturity is thy adversary. It is the adversary of thy will till it become the author of thy salvation.

I'm going to be murdered by some one for adding to this, BUT did that post ^ make any sense, or relevant in anyway to previous posts? If that was about the comment of someone bumping the thread, then that's probably a bit TOO far.

Re: Best Greenscreen Material

It was relevant. I am helping DOG to improve on the site. I am just trying to help out a fellow brother, and if you think that teaching a new member how to be more mature and encouraging them to change for the best is a bad thing, then you are strongly mistaken.
Now this is an old thread, let it end.

Re: Best Greenscreen Material

Actually, it is bumping a thread. When it's months old, it's a bump.

*cough*

It's actually from the Beginner's Guide to BiM. It'd be nice if people would read the guidelines or at least be aware of them.
