Re: Tips for THAC

20) Don't put a ton of dialogue in your script if you are planning to have other voice actors besides yourself.

21) Be very careful when you animate. Chances are, you could end up not being able to refilm it later because of the time limit. So try to get it as perfect as you can the first time.
22): Never overdo your ambitions: You will never make a bricksfilm blockbuster in 24 hours. Trust me. Just do a normal dynamic dou film, which is usally quite enjoyable.
1) Create image texture
2) In the world panel, select your image texture.
3) Set it to affect the "Horizon."
4) Finally, set the world setting to "Paper."

Okay you know what, here's the only one rule you need if you want to win this competition. Don't read any of the posts before this one. If you do, you won't be able to finish in time.
Hey, BG! Get off the freakin' internet and finish your movie! I didn't do the awesome voices for nothing!
@Awesomeonomy: Please tell me you get the joke?
23) (as I'm sure Onyx learned) Don't say yes to every casting call you see
![]()
True, true....only....the ones I found had really good ideas. Are you saying I shouldn't have done voices for YOU??? I thought not. And I didn't accept every one I saw. I rejected about half.
PS- And I wanted to be a part of this competition in some way, seeing as my brother (BGanimations) is using the webcam, so I was unable to make a film today.
BG is your brother? Hmm, didn't know, but I guess like they say "you learn something new everyday"
Like I learned that you don't wait until 7:30p.m. to start animating for THAC.
P.S. no, I was not saying that you shouldn't have said yes to mine (I'm actually editing your lines right now), but it seemed like you were voicing for half of the THAC entry
(bit of exaggeration there of course)
Well, I did about 6 or 7 peoples, but I could have done about 13. Some I refused, because they had morals I am against or weren't very good. And some were just too late for me really to help. They started way too late. Now hurry and finish before the lines go to waste!
Haha, my computer crashed 2 times just in Time of this THAC.
Monkeyjam is refusing to do, what I want to do (I can't save any files D:)
And now all I've got is a dissapointed voice actor ( sorry Onyx
) and a big pile of lego laying on the floor, for nothing. But I've got a pretty neat set left.
I only hope that next year, all the programs will do what I've got 'em for.
Oh wait:
22) If you're mad, please don't let your anger out on the sets, you'll regret it.
I know what I'm talking about.

My only tip is: If you're up at 3 AM wondering if you should finish your movie for THAC, do it, even if it sucks. You'll be glad you finished it.
And yes, this is speaking from personal expierience.
And contrary to what you said in your first post, I actually do have the time to do CGI work, and am coming along quite fine.
Yeah - I actually had some CG effects in mine as well, but it ended up being more of a pain than it was worth.
