I think it probably works better. I am not sure though because I am on a iPhone at the moment.

Well, aside from light flickr and the wobble, the animation is very smooth. 
Yeah, the wobble I've been trying to prevent, haha. I tried to stick his legs in silly putty (that's why it was zoomed in), but there is probably more I can do. Thanks!
It was pretty good. I felt that the animation was too slow. Next time, try easing in and out. The animation will look a lot better.

I made a new test with easing, you can find it here.
I'd say, for simple arm lifting, easing looks rather unnatural. Better would be, similar to your first test, a straight movement, only faster (so, in this case, make the space between the frames a bit larger).
JD is right, but what camera do you use?, that picture was so detailed, I saw a hair on his hat.
