Stories from a Bar

The footage for this film was shot over half a year ago now. I've finally gotten around finishing it, despite the lack of voices.

Haha, I really liked that. Apart from a few light flickers, and some bits of animation which where better than other bits, I really enjoyed it. Entertaining little film mini/smile.

Re: Stories from a Bar

It kept me interested, but it was just a tad confusing. I mean, what was the point of the game? haha.

I would say the set was pretty well made, the music fit wonderfully, and it's interesting how there isn't any spoken words until the guy shoots himself. There was a lot of light flicker, I must say, so be sure to work on your lighting next time around. Also, the animation was a bit choppy at times, and at other times it was smooth. When are you animating, try to make every move as smooth as possible, otherwise, it just looks odd if you have choppy animation mixed with smooth animation. I also suggest you ease in and ease out more on the animation. And unless you are trying to keep it somewhat family friendly, I suggest maybe adding a blood effect next time...or make his head "vanish" and add the blood there right as the gun fires, it makes it seem a little more realistic. I also spotted a few camera bumps, but nothing too bad.

In all, I think it was a good little short. It gave a good old fashion feeling, which a lot of brickfilms don't do anymore. So, my rating would be a solid 6/10.  Nice work, and keep it up!
