Better idea actually.

Re: Cinematography Challenge (Read Rules First)

Sorry guys, I suck. Im on holidays so I forgot.

Anyhoo, time to judge.

1st place: NOStudios

This shot interpreted the theme nicely and made me laugh. The lighting was basic but lit the shot well, and the framing itself was also simple but good. Overall, geat entry.

2nd place: LegoDudez

This shot fit the theme vaigly but was quite interesting none the less. It gets the viewer thinking: What could be beyond that light? Is it heavan ect. But the plainess left in in second place.

3rd place : Filmyguy

I liked this frame a lot due to the background and the way it fit the theme, but the shot made the mini figures look very 'small'. Other wise great entry.

Re: Cinematography Challenge (Read Rules First)

Yup. That's cool. At least you can't sue me for infringement.

Re: Cinematography Challenge (Read Rules First)

no, I think it's cool that I'm in your shot, maybe you can cameo me!

This isn't that good, but c'mon, doesn't everybody think of the same thing? Explosion in back, guy walking away looking cool.

EDIT: The more I look at this the more I hate this entry.

Re: Cinematography Challenge (Read Rules First)

The idea was good, but there is too much pixel look for me in your entry filmguy. Try an other background or just use widescreen.

Here is my trying....

Re: Cinematography Challenge (Read Rules First)

Yeah, I'm thinking of re-doing my entry.

Also, You're frame is really awesome. Although, the only thing is it looks to me like the beginning of a battle, not the end of one (if that's what you trying to say). btw, did you use a greenscreen for that or is that just your monitor?

I'm not sure which looks better, unfocused or focused?

Re: Cinematography Challenge (Read Rules First)

I would say focused but then you really can't tell that they're guns. I would try a different angle to make the message more clear. I like the idea though. mini/smile
