Topic: Editing Software?

I've recently been looking for some good editing software works with a Mac, but since I'm on somewhat of a moderate budget, around $100 I'd like to know what most people use. Can you BiMers hep me out?

Re: Editing Software?

I use a combo of Imovie11 and Istopmotion Express. Works fine for me.

There is also the The Free Software List if you don't want to pay for good software.

Re: Editing Software?

I use Final Cut express 3.5. Its fantastic, I've used the pro version at school and there doesn't seen to be a massive difference. It also comes with a separate app called livetype, it also includes soundtrack but that won't work being as apple no longer include it in the express version.
Anyway, I got it for about £30 off ebay, version 4 (just slightly better) costs £120+. I can upgrade it for about £70 too, which I'm saving up for.
It's a good app, just it only works on macs.

Re: Editing Software?

I use SAM animation for putting pictures together into films, and then I use either iMovie 9 or iMovie HD 6 (depending on what I need for the specific film) to edit. The last two though only work on a Mac though.

You might want to tell us whether you're running a Mac or a PC.

With all due respect Noodle, I don't want you here. - Ratboy Productions

I use a Mac.
I'll add that to the main post.
