Topic: which one?

Hey there!

I'm looking for a good quality camera that goes to a tethering software for under 200 pounds, or 150 pounds would be best!

Any cameras?

Re: which one?

Get a Logitech HD webcam if you don't want to go extremely expensive but still get a excellent quality camera. mini/yes

I've been lookin' at the Sony SX65 Camcorder.  It's really good.

Re: which one?

I would not go down camcorder alley DW. Unless you have good expierience with camcorders you ought to stick to webcams.

No offense to camcorder users. It's just that I'm not a fan of them. What I would do is invest in a Logitech C190 or 9000 Pro. Then you'll need to call up Logitech and get them to give you a link so you can download a previous version of their software that has manual white balance and focus.

But if you are specifically looking for a camcorder then you ought to look for a Sony version probably.

So yeah, I'm back from my mind.

Re: which one?

No need to ask logitech, they updated the software to have whitebalance a month ago.

Re: which one?

What about manual focus?

Re: which one?

... They always had manual focus for the C910 at least.

Re: which one?

if you have Animator HD personal the software seems to confect and you can't change no thing on the camera...

Erm...My camcorder is a sony camcorder...

Yeah, I might as well just stick to my quickcam pro 9000 then mini/tongue

Re: which one?

Why are you looking for a new camera if you already have two? I'm using a QuickCam Pro 9000 at the moment and the only upgrade I'd consider would be to a DSLR so I could control aperture and focal length better. Spend the £200 on Lego/lights/hard disk space.

Re: which one?

Well anyway, it answers the question in your other thread - use the Quickcam if you want decent picture quality through your animation software.
