Tekkon Kinkreet and Paprika are really awesome movies. Actually Satoshi Kon was my favorite director of animation until he died, it still makes me sad when I think about that. Despite the fact that Perfect Blue has everything I hate about anime in the first 5 minuets it's a really great film.

I love the fact that Tekkon Kinkreet turned to City of God for inspiration on the camera work and action sequences, I also love the fact that it was directed by an American, animated by Japanese and the soundtrack was done by the English, this just pleases me.

My favorite animes at the moment are "Avatar: The Last Airbender" and Haiasho Mazuaki's (or whatever his name is) stuff.

I've tried to watch Pokemon, but I can never really seem to enjoy it. I bet if I were to play the card game/video game I would like it more. mini/cat

I finished watching the entire avatar series last year. I watched all 3 seasons in 2 months.

I've watched quite a lot of anime, first anime I watched was DragonBall along with DragonBall Z and GT. I then ended up watching Ghost in the Shell, despite it being a little too deep in some areas of its plot, I think it's brilliant. The Studio Ghibli stuff is fantastic, watched a few of their films already and was quite surprised that my friends like that sort of stuff too. At the moment I've just been watching the Black Lagoon anime and I can say that I'm not surprised about the cliches that are thrown in this action anime, but I'm not really phased since it's alright.

BUMP.

I wanted to see what Death Note was, and to be quite frank, this anime is AMAZING. The story is great, the plot keeps twisting like worm about to be hooked, and the character development is awesome. It's kinda deep, and not for small children. But it's adictive. And awesome. Mostly awesome.
