Topic: New Podcast-Yes, there are SO many!

Hello there!

Now, I know what you are thinking (I'm Darren Brown, lol jk), and I know it must be annoying with tons of podcasts at your face, so many ones on bricksinmotion.com, LegOpinions did one, now the new OFFICIAL bricksinmotion.com podcast.
But what I really want to do, is create one that stands out. I love listening to LegOpinions, I find it very amusing!
However, I think that there should be a podcast that makes the listener be a part of it.  Feel that they are taking part not just the ones at the other end listening to it. They can vote what brickfilm that they want us to review! They can choose which guest star they want! What questions! You can even do some updates to your fans, if you find getting the message across hard!
I thought this would be a good idea.

Please put down:

What brickfilm you want us to review
What guest star
And what shall we ask them

Out of the top 5, and people we can get hold of, WE will choose which guest star

In my opinion, there shouldn't be a limitation on Podcasts. Although a large amount of contests can prove to be somewhat nerve aggravating, I enjoy having a selection of podcasts to choose from - they all have slightly different views, and therefore make it enjoyable to listen too. People who say that there are too many are simply haters, and "HATERS GONNA HATE", so yeaaaah.

Anyway, I hope it goes well for you. I'd like you to review Brenden's "The Case of the Missing Strawberries", and get him on to talk about it and stuff. Personally I think podcasts should start focusing on films by all sorts of creators, not just big ones from popular creators. OH, and Interviews with Brickfilmers, while it can be labeled a podcast, isn't really in the same category, as it's only myself a pre-selected guest, in which we discuss primarily issues and matters that concern them in some shape or form.

That's exactly right. When people disagree with you, simply besmirch their integrity! After all, what makes for better conversation than a healthy "Us vs. Them" mentality?

Personally, I do think there are too many podcasts - but it doesn't really hurt anyone other than the creators. Understanding the Law of Supply and Demand can help here. The supply of podcasts is going up, but the demand is staynig the same - possibly even decreasing due to podcast overload. Thus, those people creating said podcasts are simply making the entire game more difficult, especially for themselves, as they're just starting out.

If you want to see more podcasts flood the site, that's fine. It doesn't bother me as long as people don't start complaining that their podcasts aren't getting much reception.

I disagree. Opinion =/= hate.
My sincere opinion about this is: don't do it. I could say that it's ok for me, since it probably won't disturb me, I won't even be here most of the time, and I won't, in fact, be here for most of the time. But I think that, as Jargon said, not many people will listen to any new podcast, because the demand is decreasing.

I am a host in this podcast and i dont think that "there being too many" is a problem if you do the podcast WELL and not make it 10 kids screaming to their 50 dollar microphones. So if you are going to make a podcast remember PLEASE DO IT WELL...

By "cared for", I mean "have ever bothered to listen to out of boredom" not "only one that's good".

OK, how about - where does his idea stem from for this short, and did he record the voices for "Have a Tree" before or after filming? That's all I can think of, looking forward to listening to it.
