Re: Lets write a Story!

Because he had just seen a guy trip over the TV and out the simulated plane window to their simulated death. It was okay to laugh, because he wasn't actually flying... Or was he?

To make this easier to animate like Ratboy said, how about making Bill a person instead of an elephant?

I, a few pages back, wrote:

Not everyone has a Lego elephant...

Also, this time around, nobody said Bill was an elephant (well, Living LEGO implied it, but didn't directly say it). Loophole!

I think it is generally accepted that Bill is an elephant. It adds to the feel.

Re: Lets write a Story!

Well, if you guys want Bill to stay an elephant, then maybe we could make a new story with human characters if this could possibly be made into a collaborative animation.
Tryxx, I meant in the 3rd version of the story.

Then Bill the elephant arrived to the high mountain-top. After 3 weeks of meditation, he woke up to find that during his sleep, he was transformed into a man!
(There, ya happy?)

Re: Lets write a Story!

Living LEGO, I kinda meant in the whole story he would be a person, but evidentally people want him to stay an elephant. I only suggested that this should be done with people so it could be possible that this could be made into a collaborative animation.

His house had grown 4 stories higher.

He looked into the mirror and saw two large, gray ears, a long truck, and a tail. Why did he feel like a man he wondered? Because his heart had grown 3 times bigger.
really, the more I think about it, this kind of storytelling game shouldn't have constraints on ones creativity and is too late to change the current one into something animate-able with LEGO bricks anyway. IMO We shouldn't HAVE to change anything or move the story in any particular way. This kind of game is fun as long as no-one: A) writes something that completely ruins the story B) complains that the story didn't go in a particular direction of C) over complicates something that should be lighthearted and fun.

Re: Lets write a Story!

Agreed. Bill is a elephant, and should stay an elephant. I reckon I'll make the first story into a film because it's the best so far, and Bill doesn't do too many 'human' things.

Re: Lets write a Story!

Well, if you want something collaborative like you originally planned, then you might want to do a new story. If you don't, that's fine.

Re: Lets write a Story!

I didn't plan for it to be made into a film at all. But it's had such a good response i'm going to make a film based on the 1st story of Bill dedicated to you guys. I might have the narration done as a collaboration though.

Oh man can I be in the narration?

So yeah, I'm back from my mind.

Re: Lets write a Story!

I could make a film advertising it with a few people saying their contributions, and then text saying to join the story!

It also meant he had become a hippie. Which was strange because it has been proven that the heart doesn't control emotions like love, but that's beside the point.

Re: Lets write a Story!

Suddenly, Bill woke to find himself on a stranded island with nothing but a years worth supply of food, a storm-proof emergency shelter with complete with running water and satellite TV, some signal flairs, a motorboat with extra fuel, and a Bob's Pizza Delivery service.

Re: Lets write a Story!

And thus Bill thought "Oh no!!! This is terrible!!! The satellite subscription excludes Sky Movies!!"

He only simulated the plane but nvm.

To solve this tradgedy he wrote a strong letter of complaint to the owner of the satellite TV company.
