So this girl wants me to copy her history project from the original DVD to two more DVDs, but when I try to copy the files from the DVD on to an empty DVD, it doesn't work on the TV. I don't have the original video file, all there is is this "Video TS" folder and this odd "Dummy Space" file from the original DVD. I usually use DVD flick to burn things, but I don't have the original file. I need instructions on how to do this by tomorrow please.

I recommend InfraRecorder. I've used it twice to burn the Ubuntu ISOs.
Why I recommend it is because it has a the ability to copy CD, possibly DVD.
I haven't tried it yet, but it's worth a shot.
In order to copy CD's, or in particular DVD's, you must first find a program that will allow you to decode the information that is on the disc. This will allow you to remove the information that is on the DVD, and place it on your machine. DVDs that are used for installing programs come with the decoder, in the form of the installer program. If I am wrong, someone please correct me.
Thanks for the help guys! I figured out that if I used Handbrake to rip it and then use DVD Flick to burn it would work fine.

Glad to hear you've figured it out... Handbrake was going to be my first suggestion as well.
To present a bit more information--for those of you on Macs:
Open a new Finder window and go to "Applications" folder.
Open the Utilities folder.
Open up Disk Utilty.
Select your DVD from the frame on the left side of the screen and click "New Image."
In the pop-up box, change "Image Format" to "DVD/CD Master," pick the name and location for the file, and click "Save."
Once the program finishes copying the DVD content to the hard drive, it should show up underneath where the original DVD appeared on the left side of the screen. Select it, insert a blank DVD, and click "Burn."
This gives you an exact duplicate of the original DVD, menus and all. You can delete the master file you created on your hard drive once you've finished.
