Topic: new here!need help with fps-how i get 30fps?

hi everyone,i am a new excited brickfilmer or want to become one actually,but i have no idea about the frames per second thing,i downloaded now so many diferent programms but none seems to be easy.even windows movie maker is a bit jerky all the time,its not smooth and i think it goes only up to 15fps not more.so how do i get 30fps?
i am using a lumix photocamera with 3mpx set.then paste the pics into the movie maker.
i am under time pressure,cause i am working on a movie for a contest which ends february 26. and i have not figured anything out yet.if anyone can explain this to me with the fps i would really appreciate it.

I think you'll find that 15FPS will be quite high enough, haha.

I can't think if a single animator who uses 30FPS.

Download Monkeyjam or Helium Frog..

You Have a Lumix? You might want to check to see if it is available to have live feed, otherwise, you can't open it up in a frame capturing program. I say this because I also have a Lumix Camera, and I have to animate an entirely different way than some people here, just because it doesn't have live video feed which is what most webcams have. Not all cameras have that feature available.
