Let's say I come in second and Rsteenoven comes in first. Rsteenoven goes with the 80$. Can I pick the C910?
No, if you won second place you would be entitled to a $60 9000, not an $80 C910. It wouldn't be correct to get an $80 dollar item if you are only given sixty. Its not like Unilego has a ton of money to give away like that

It would be nice if you would expound upon what entries are judged upon. Seeing as what one person chooses to achieve may be very different from another's, what is it they will be judged on? Production quality? Writing? Will an action-oriented entry be favored over a story-based film? Is humor more desirable than drama? etc.

Thanks for that, UniLego. That seems good because I haven't really made any good animations yet.
Because this contest is more about testing yourself, entries will be judged in comparison to your previous works. Previously plot-less animations will make an animation rich in story get a higher mark. The same can be said for the animation itself. This contest can most closely be related to the title of 'most improved.'
Very interesting. Nice idea, imo. It's gonna be quite difficult to judge, though.
Oh and I wanted to mention how awesome I find it that you organize this contest and pay for all the prices yourself. Maybe I'll make an entry.

What does that have to do with this contest?
Well, as I have nothing for TOY and an idea in my head that might just fit the bill, I'm willing to give this a shot. I don't really need a webcam - I actually have the C910 - but I'll probably be doing it for the motivation. And, maybe the publicity.
