Beware the predators and stuff, kids. I am pretty confident we don't have any predators among the regular members here but be careful about giving out personal info and stuff.
Not that being in California (or Houston) counts as dangerous personal information.
Yeah, if you are going and you're under age, it'd be wise to have your parents or a guardian with you for most all the time - it wouldn't be hard to for someone who is a threat to come onto the boards and find the location/date/time.
So, yeah, you know. I don't mean to be all gloomy, I doubt you'll run into any trouble.

Yeah, I'll echo Smeagol and Riley. Giving out information on the exact place you live in is not a good idea to post on a forum. I'd say ask if anyone's in the same state as someone else, and if you are and still want to plan something, plan it in PM's or emails, because then no stalkers or predators will chance upon any information about you.
Unless you're PMing or emailing a stalker, of course.

Isn't there a rule about kids under 13?
Yes, this forum isn't intended for children under 13 years of age. It is, however, an unenforceable rule, because any attempt to enforce it would simply result in kids lying about their age. (see: Facebook)

The problem isn't just stalkers that could be on the forums, it's people who visit the site and find you posting your location, that's a threat as well.

Wouldn't people finding your posted location be called stalking? Correct me if I'm wrong, but obviously you don't need to be a forum member to be a stalker on BiM. 
Do we have a date and time and place that we're meeting up, or do we still have to figure that out? That would probably be helpful, yes?
