Nice. I'll start pre-production.
Awesomesauce.
I hope I get my freelance project done so I have time to enter... Absolutely LOVE the theme!
God do people not read the thread before they ask a question?
Ah, I didn't read any replies, just the first post.
Apparently not, haha.
Oh well.
Can you simply make up an event?
To answer a question I've been asked in several PMs publicly, "period pieces" are fine. You could have a fictional story that you made up, but set it in the 1940s and it'd qualify as historical fiction.
People, please don't be as so lazy to ask the question before looking through the pages.

I'm just trying to get to the point. Shouldn't really. Have 6 and bit months to do this in.
Can we make more than one entry? Like incase someone wants to co-operate with some others but also wants to make their own entry.
Don't comment and say it was explained in an earlier comment cause I do not wanna read trough the whole thing.
Whadayaknow!?!? I have a film that fits PERFECTLY that I've been working on for a bit. I have it scripted and like 74 pictures of storyboard. And a whole stack of sets. Plus a test shot if you check my channel! Sounds so much fun!
Well, I'm not sure how much of a chance I stand against such incredible Brickfilmers... but it's worth a shot, I suppose. I'll have to concentrate solely on the plot if I have any hope of winning though, as my animating skills are far from top-notch.
I might write a script for someone to use if they want. I feel like doing a Nazi-alien film, that is if it doesn't have to be historically accurate.

Do you know IRON SKY ? Might interest you. I'm thinking about something historical, space-related, too.
That looks familiar. Looks pretty cool.
I found a historical murder case that'd be great.
.... GGGGGHHHRAAAAAAAAAAA, that was EXACLY what I was thinking
Don't worry tough, I'm still thinking of a decent scenario and I don't think it's a problem anyway.
I hope you think the same about it
I'm thinking of entering. I'm writing a script for an idea that spawned in my head and if all goes well I'll make it. It sounds like good fun, but I'm a bit rusty so this won't be up to much standard.
I haven't been on this forum in ages, so hi again everyone.
Okay, so here's my update, see if anyone cares.
First of all, its amazing how many questions keep getting asked on and on (the same ones, too).
All right, this contest seems fun. I'm thinking of making a 1920s style crime story (Tommy guns + Brownings and all), though I have to study how all the best brickfilmers make serious sets and such, because I don't think I have enough pieces to make an 1900s style town. I'm going to need to better my skills, and begin using greenscreen (I've never tried it, despite the fact that I have the software for it).
Lets see how many people skip this post.
And continue asking the same questions, heh heh.
