Topic: Youtube name?

First of all, my youtube name sucks...StormTrooper305, how original, right?
Anyways, I was wandering if there was anyway I could change my youtube name?
I could either create a whole new account...But then I'd have to tell all my subscribers to move over to that channel, which would mean I would be spending another year trying to tell people that I am StormTrooper305

OR

I could keep the account, change the name...But, people would still call me StormTrooper305..Plus, I would have no idea how to change it, and all my subscribers would be like 'wtf? Who is this guy?'

So yeah, what's your opinion? What shall I do??

You cannot change your youtube name. You would have to create a new account.
