Topic: Animating darkness

I am animating this scene, and it is dark, but I want it light enough to show the actual characters. Any way of doing this? I've seen other people do it, like filmguy ect mini/smile (I use the Quickcam pro 9000)

Re: Animating darkness

Well, if you have a small LED or those electric lights from lego, you could put one of those below the camera and loght it, if you want a scene like these:

(these were all lit in production, no post production work.)
To light these, I used this brick.

I also use few LEDs for that.

Re: Animating darkness

Tryxx there's something a bit of with your picture. There is no blue tint that the moon would reflect normally at night. The blue tint is a huge factor in making a good night scene.

Re: Animating darkness

It's not necessarily necessary, imo. You're right, sometimes a blueish light can be helpful, but not always.

Re: Animating darkness

Real Brick,
The first picture looks pretty good! Did you make this yourself?

Re: Animating darkness

Yes, I took them with my 9000.

Re: Animating darkness

(Can't show you a picture), I did it. Sort of. I made it like, really dark though, I guess it sort of makes it mysterious, thanks guys mini/smile
