Open the base image that doesnt have the minifig on it, then open the image with the minifig as a layer over the top of the base image...
Hard to explain.
I know that is the method but how do you do that on Gimp?
File: open your base image
in the new window, click file > open as layers > then select the top image
rub out the rig
export
I'll try it out.
