Topic: Anyone know how to work the fractal generator in MLcad?
Alright, so I've been told that the fractal generator is hard to get right and thats true. Does anyone know how to work it to its best and make some of the best landscapes?

What you see is what you get. Width, height, plate or brick, and a randomizer that doesn't give you the landscape you're looking for. You're better off manually creating it. Besides, the landscape it generates creates redundant pieces below the visible surface pieces that, depending on how big your landscape is, creates a very large file.
You could have asked the guy that told you about it?
Like Lechnology said, lots useless bricks that you don't need are created. If you are using this terrain for a foreground shot and you want the studs, you will need to spend sometime removing them in blender. This will take a while. If its for the background and you don't want any studs, just use the Ldraw import script and it will be very easy to remove all the stuff you don't want.
Also, export/import the model in parts, don't do it all at once.
Thanks both of you. I didn't want to annoy you by asking about it more, so I came to BIM to find an answer.
