Re: Ways to Anchor a Camera

QP9K works with Monkeyjam (Assuming that your computer has USB and the necessary drivers. LOL). I found it here for around $55 USD. I am in the process of getting one too! mini/smile

The logitech quickcam pro 9000 is the bigger one.

Re: Ways to Anchor a Camera

Almost any if not any camera works with MJ, but the QCP9000 does work with it. Look on Ebay for a while. I would buy it during the now, instead of the christmas season, because a bunch of people will be bidding on the same product. Many of it's features include digital zooming and panning, as well as focusing without having to touch the camera.

Re: Ways to Anchor a Camera

Can someone give me a good overface on how it works, how to anchor it, and all you can tell me about it's physical and cyber functions. Thanks! mini/bigsmile

Here's some specs on it, but there's many more. There are no official ways to anchor the webcam, you have to build your own personalised anchor - you can sort of build up a mental image of the kind of anchor you want by looking at the image.

Right above your post, I wrote:

It also has a mic, but I wouldn't use it if I were you.

I think the mic's okay. But I've never actually used a good mic, so I can't compare the 9k's to anything.

Re: Ways to Anchor a Camera

Ok. Guys. I have a Sony Handycam CX115. (Search it on google images mini/tongue ). I got a connection cable, Easy-cap it's called. But the quality seems to be lacking. MJ recognizes it, but doesn't want to show a picture. Any help? mini/smile

Could someone give me a cage pic for a QC9K?

Re: Ways to Anchor a Camera

Look at NXTManiac94's channel. There are very good videos that were shot with the 9000 pro.

I've used this webcam before, today I use a digital camera.
Here is a picture with my new camera:

This pic. was not made with the QC 9000 pro. It was made with a Canon Powershot.

I'll try to find my old webcam, than i'll make a new pic.

Re: Ways to Anchor a Camera

Another way to reduce camera shaking is to make the camera take the photo after a short delay, e.g. 2 seconds.
That way the movement created by pressing the button doesn't affect the photo.

Re: Ways to Anchor a Camera

Well, first of all do you have hard wood or carpet in your room? Because sometimes when you push down to take a picture it moves the tripod/table/clay or whatever you're using. I recommend connecting the camera to a frame capture software so you don't have to  push the button on the camera.

Hope this helped! mini/yes

You can find a simple cradle tutorial for the 9000 here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=evZ5p_8QDmY
Im also planning to make a video tutorial of how to get good quality with it in about a week.

This is the best brickfilming camera for the price you pay for it, i REALLY suggest you buy it.
