Really love that place. Why don't the panel choose some responsible and reliable members from BIM and assign them to do the resources stuff...like accept and judge articles and promote the section some more.

It's not that simple. People can be up for reviewing and helping out one day, then quit the next. It's a little like the Review Panel (not the current one) in that sense - a large panel with a lower number of films accepted/denied. No offence meant to anyone.

I don't make Brickfilms. I trade virtual hats.

Re: BiM Resources - Final Beta phase

We're planning a pretty big overhaul of the website making the Resources pretty much obsolute. This is why the Resources are pretty much completely inactive at the moment. Just wanted to drop that in here.

I am excite. I'm guessing it'll take a while; has progress been made, or is the overhaul in planning stages at the moment?

Still in planning stages - I expect to start working on it later this week.

Re: BiM Resources - Final Beta phase

What kind of changes will be made? Will the site's appearance or organization change?

Mostly the organization. What's currently planned is having a sort of blog set up as the front of the site (not unlike a website like The Brothers Brick). As for the Film Directory, it will be will be unified and simplified and made much better. The Resources will go completely, being replaced again with threads in the forums and blog posts highlighting great tutorials, resources, informative articles and whatnot.

In the end, the website shall be much more simple and organized and way more attractive for both casual visitors and die hard posters (you know who you are).
